The Brass Nail Sensor is typically installed in combination with temperature sensors for temperature compensation of the moisture content measurements.
Sensor data is read by the SMT A3 or A2 data acquisition equipment and transported to the Building Intelligence Gateway where temperature compensation and wood species correction factors are applied.
